Superpark Dachstein: O'Neill Roof Battle - QParks Freeski Tour Finals: 19-04-14

After a journey that took 6 months, 8100 kilometers, 4 countries, 20.000 euros in prize money and an infinite number of gas station coffee and sandwiches: the QParks Freeski Tour came to its grande finale at Superpark Dachstein on Saturday the 19th of April to crown the champions of the 2013/14 season. Over in the skier's category it was the unstoppable force of Florian Geyer that swept the podium in the mens category whilst young Max Mall added another trophy to his ever-growing cabinet. Tour favorite and defending champion Jule Seifert brought home the bacon for the ladies rounding off a near perfect season. So we're now off for a long summer siesta, but rest assured we'll be back and bigger than ever next season kicking things off in December with the Blue tomato Plan P at Superpark Planai. The contest series at the one and only Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen entered the next round - on March 12th, 2016 the QParks Tour celebrated the premiere of the PENKEN BATTLE. The second to last QParks Tourstop La Freestyla in the Snowpark Alta Badia was ruled by sunshine, wind and massive action. Total number of 65 riders in 8 different categories rocked the contest line. After a spectacular qualification heats the finals were victim to strong and heavy gusts of wind, but the mood was still great. Snowpark Dachstein West: Freeski Session 2014!

The Snowpark Dachstein West is situated on the western side of the famous Dachstein mountain ranges and approached best from Salzburg. The project already exists since three years and was constantly improved in the last years. It offers a nice beginner section on the right side and a medium/advanced kicker- and rail section on the left side! In addition to this upper part the park also offers some jib elements and wallrides in the lower part, before you go down to the heated chairlift, which brings you up again.
