ON THE ROAD AGAIN ? The QParks Freeski Tour 2014/15 is back!

Going into the 5th season, the QParks Tour constitutes the biggest transalpine freestyle tour with stops in Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. The contests are open for everybody and free of starting fees. Freeskiers are contesting in the disciplines of men, women and rookies. The goal for all riders is to collect as many tour-points as possible in order to qualify for the grande QParks Tour Finals at Superpark Dachstein. In addition to the desired QParks Tour points, the best Austrian Freeskiers have the possibility to reap FSA points and qualify for the Austrian Cup. Thereby your first class performances won't just be rewarded once, but twice! However fierce the battle for the points may be, the main intention is always to have a good time. The contests offer a great opportunity, especially for the rookies, to gain first experiences in the contest-business and to compete in a professional format. Area 47 Snowpark Sölden: The Big Booter Freeski Sessions 2014!

Madness was ruling over the Tiefenbacher in Sölden this spring! International film crews and riders gathered en masse at one of the biggest kickers of the season. Sölden: Big Jump Freeski Teaser - May 2014

For nearly the last decade, the Ötztal valley has hosted some of the most progressive film riding in Europe at the end of each season on various special obstacles. For the last few years it was always about the big jump on Söldens glacier and the kicker has grown better with tuning, tweaking and planning each year. This year was no exception and some well known movie collectives like Legs of Steel, Freeski Crew and Shift Productions again followed the call, and took on the big booter which was even bigger this year. Superpark Dachstein: O'Neill Roof Battle - QParks Freeski Tour Finals: 19-04-14

After a journey that took 6 months, 8100 kilometers, 4 countries, 20.000 euros in prize money and an infinite number of gas station coffee and sandwiches: the QParks Freeski Tour came to its grande finale at Superpark Dachstein on Saturday the 19th of April to crown the champions of the 2013/14 season. Over in the skier's category it was the unstoppable force of Florian Geyer that swept the podium in the mens category whilst young Max Mall added another trophy to his ever-growing cabinet. Tour favorite and defending champion Jule Seifert brought home the bacon for the ladies rounding off a near perfect season. So we're now off for a long summer siesta, but rest assured we'll be back and bigger than ever next season kicking things off in December with the Blue tomato Plan P at Superpark Planai. The sun was shining down on Superpark Planai?s gigantic kicker-line for the 5th edition of the Haus Moasters Big Air. There were a handful of riders with the ?cojones? to tackle the course, it got off to a blitzing start with spins, flips and corks galore for the assembled crowd to marvel over. Daniel Walchhofer combined technicality and style with his switch 900 to take the bragging rights of being the Austrian Master of Big Air. We can all remember the playground staring competitions and it seems the girls that turned up at Superpark Planai haven?t got any better at it since. With over 40 features still standing until the end of the season, it was decided that Superpark Planai should host the sessions for a 3rd time in conjunction with O?Neill.
