He was okay, but sore for sure. They had no idea where one of his skis went. They asked to see the footage and saw the ski continue over the next knuckle. The ski continued over a third and was found at the bottom of The Point.

What started out as a great spring day at Mt. Bachelor turned tragic. I post this in the hope that it will help others to learn to slow down on icy and snowy conditions.
Got some custom top sheet Fischer skis to work on. Patron Tequila! The main focus here is top sheet preservation through sidewall shaping and rounding the edges after the widest points.
Mt. Bachelor may have set a record for least sunny days in a season ever! It's been "The Never Ending Winter" Only bonus for me is I have improved my powder game for real. Had to be a storm trooper this season.
