FilmerUnknown 2017 is proudly presented by Sony, RODE, and Music Vine. Open to amateur filmmakers around the world, FilmerUnknown provides an opportunity for them to get recognized, win free gear, and get a foot in the door of the action sports filmmaking community! The 4th annual FilmerUnknown brought in 145 entries from around the globe, from filmmakers in 14 countries, ranging in age from 14 to 47 for a total of 2018 minutes of total content. Our panel of judges reviewed each and every second, judging for creativity, technical ability, technique, use of light and motion- no small task! When the dust settled we had selected 5 Finalists who will be receiving camera packages from Sony and RODE and producing 90 second final films set to music from Music Vine- stay tuned for their release in mid-April!
