European Freeski Open 2011

From March 1st unitl 5th Laax was the host of the prime event of the European freeski-scene. For the sixth time the world's best freeskiers crowned their champions at the European Freeski Open. Featuring top level competitions in slopestyle and halfpipe, the European Open given local and amateur riders the chance to compete with the best pro's in the sport - top riders which were personally invited and seeded into the semi-finals. With a prize purse of 50'000 USD the event offers the highest prize money on the continent. The courses belongs to the most innovative and expertly shaped constructions. The unique set-up guaranteed high-level action and incredible tricks performed by the freestyle riders.

Am Wochenende war es wieder Zeit, die Creme de la Creme der Freeskiszene reiste zu den European Open nach Laax. Am Freitag fanden bei Traumhaften Wetter die Slopestyle Finals statt und am Sonntag folgten die dann die Pipe Finals. David Wise gewann vor Matt Margetts und Byron Wells... Hier ein kleiner Edit der Finals, Enjoy! We had a great Time!

24" Of Jackson Hole Pillow Fun - February 20, 2011 - The Teton Sessions Episode 4

The past four days have been perhaps the best four of my life. It's been an up and down past month or so here at Jackson Hole and things finally started to turn around last week. On Saturday, co-worker Brian Wulf and I took three flawlessly smooth laps through Four Pines. On Sunday it dumped 24" in a 12 hour period and I met up with Don Watkins and Julie Weinberger for some deep pillow lines through Four Pines and Saratoga Bowl. Yesterday, Headwall, Casper Bowl and The Crags opened, changing my life forever and there's no end in sight. Below are videos from yesterday and from Monday. Enjoy!
