by SkiersRealm
Jan 27th 2011 - 0 comments

Giga what? It's the Gigawatt! Well with that out of the way lets get to the specs. The Gigawatt has full length rocker from tip to tail. There are two sizes for 2012 and they are.. 185 and an even longer 195. The tip has a width of 163 a waist of 135 and a tail coming in at 141. Good luck finding brakes. Although it is such a giant in the ski world it is still backcountry touring friendly weighing in at 11.11 lbs. and 12.9 lbs. This is the biggest fattest ski that Black Diamond has produced, ever. Get used to it. They say it is the future of being a man.

Jan 27th 2011 - 0 comments

The 2012 Tanner Hall POC helmet is black with rasta highlights, has a low profile design, and overall clean looking. That is why we don't blame POC when they told us that they didn't change it from last year. Over all we are stoked.

Give it a look to get in the mood for the production on ESPN this weekend. Hot Damn Hot Doggers! Willi's Ski Shop captured an image of Tom Wallisch's 2012 Full Tilt Hot Dogger Pro Model boot. The blue is nice and it seems to fit in line with his overall theme of being RAD. Check back tomorrow in the 2011 SIA Coverage page as I will display how it looks with my jeans tucked into the top.

The new 2012 Salomon STH 16 Binding design has not been changed. If it ain't broke why fix it? The DIN range is a comfortable 9 - 16. For 2012 Salomon comes to the table with two different versions of the STH 16 bindings. The three year old lightweight version will still be available but the bullet proof completely steel STH binding is back. Check back for more information as it becomes available.Via: Skiingbusiness.com
