Backcountry Kills Tramdock

PARK CITY, UTAH (January 13, 2011) - Today was Tramdock.com?s last day. Backcountry.com?s ski-only ODAT (one-deal-at-a-time) site went dark at 7am MST. There?s no need for skiers to freak, though. Huge deals on all things ski will now be up for grabs on the original ODAT site for outdoor gear, SteepandCheap.com.This decision came down just four months after Backcountry closed its snowboard-specific ODAT site, Brociety.com. Why two closures so close together? The short answer is to give customers a better overall experience.

Sean Pettit Wins 2011 Red Bull Linecatcher

Sean Pettit throws down at the 2011 Red Bull Linecatcher competition in Vars, France. The young Canadian never lost his top spot in the field but that did not stop Italy's Markus Eder or Bend Oregon's Tim Durtschi from gunning for him (we do not promote skier on skier violence) throughout the competition.
