Oregon High Country
It's always fun to be skiing high up in the mountains! This was one great day last week with Nic Hall. 1/25/2016

The last two days of November I went skiing with friends at two of my favorite backcountry zones. One zone offers fun gladed tree skiing with cliff drops and chutes. Perfect for those stormy days. The second zone is an alpine volcanic wonderland that is deep in the Central Oregon Cascades. Long approaches, but rewarded with steep and challenging skiing!
This is one epic day in the Chugach mountains of Alaska spent with friends Greg Stafford, Anna Kelly and Tess Carney. After a few stormy days, the weather finally cleared up and we sped up to the high country to climb and shred some big lines. Quite possibly the steepest and deepest powder skiing of my life and I somehow managed to dislocate my shoulder amidst a poor choice of slough management. My adrenaline was peaking so hard that it took me a good while to realize that something was wrong with my body! The intense pain while riding was surreal and luckily I made it to the bottom without falling. So thankful to have a wilderness first responder and a nurse in my crew to put my shoulder back into place! Such an awesome day in the mountains despite the injury! Additional footage and time lapse by Greg Stafford
