Last week we were shooting at Vierli ski resort. Vierli has one of the best parks in Norway, and the people there are super nice to work with. For the last couple of days, we have been filming some urbans in Hemsedal with Oskar Pedersen and Maria Bagge. portfolio update

I decided that it was time to update some portfolio sections on my website. At the end of each winter I have a stack of images that I would just love to show everybody. Unfortunately they have to remain under wraps until they have been used by either the commercial or editorial clients in the following winter’s ski magazine! It means that some photos can lay dormant on my hard drive for over 12 months before they are seen by people other than art directors, marketing managers and photo editors. At this time though, nearly everything that I shot last winter that is going to be published in one way or another has been so I can finally update my site with some fresh images........

C.R. Johnson was not only an amazing skiier, he was an amazing person to everyone he met. He gave me hope when I needed it most, and helped me get my first sponsors.

It's difficult to put into words what the world lost yesterday in the passing of C.R. Johnson, who at the age of 26 succumbed to injuries sustained in a fall at his home resort of Squaw Valley, CA. Beyond being a good friend to Redbullskiing.com and an amazing athlete, C.R. embodied what it meant to be a genuine person. I've never had the pleasure of knowing someone who was as friendly, approachable, humble, and positive as C.R. was. He was that rare kind of person who comes through your life and leaves you a better human being because of it. Our thoughts go out to C.R.'s family, friends, and the ski community as whole. We miss you terribly, C.R. Thank you for the time you granted us and the things you taught us we will never forget.
