Sometimes you win. Sometimes you just tie with the light-post.
Crashing in Whistler - It's a realistic part of what we're about on our paths to radness.
I don't mean to rip too hard on patrol or anything, they obviously do a lot to keep us safe on the mountain, but I thought it was pretty ironic that me, a very experienced and controlled skier, got called out, and while he was chewing me out for something pretty insignificant (and hardly dangerous), some gaper comes up and blindsides me. Maybe they should focus a bit more on those who are actually a threat to ski safety, rather than just calling the big dogs out because we're skiing a bit more aggressively (and safely).

Was planning on cutting together a season edit but ended up being too lazy so my segment from the @drinkbutter movie is doubling as my season edit. Hope y'all enjoy it and shout out to everyone who followed me around with a camera and all the boys for keeping the stoke at an all time high. Also special thanks to the liquor and the lesbian population of Boise, Idaho for bolstering my morale. Film: @drinkbutter @adam_scheer @brianallen19 @alex_mgr plus many others.

While heading to Quebec to join the family for Christmas celebrations we linked up with Dom Laporte and the Not So Local crew to shoot in the streets of Quebec for one month. It was truly inspiring to ski with these guys, share experiences and walk our way through the cold and wet weather of eastern Canada. I am glad I could realize an old dream of mine to put together a full street segment, I hope you wil enjoy the vibe of this cut as we put a lot of work and passion into it. Shout out to Noe Provost, Louis Charles Pillon, Dom Laporte, Nicky Hartmann, Nouka, Antoine - all the people we met and helped us along the way. Thanks to my sponsors for helping realize my kid's dreams : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley, GoPro and Feiyu Tech.

The second stop of our road trip through British Columbia was a visit to our old friend Jon Whelan in Nelson. Even though we hadn't seen each other for 4 years it felt like no time had passed. Our friendship was renewed in the best way possible, 5 days straight of deep pow skiing. Whitewater is truly a paradise. With steep, challenging and playful terrain paired with tons of snow, you could spend years here and never tire of it. We had some of the best runs of our season in these 5 days and couldn't be more grateful to all the friends, old and new, that we got to share this time with.
