Season spent cruising around Keystone and Breckenridge in between class days, with a week trip for nationals where CUFST travelled back to Lake Placid NY for USCSA nationals and took 1st! Also had the chance to hit this DFD in Boulder that a buddy had found on googlemaps, buena ondas! This season was full of ups and downs. In and out of injuries, it was hard to get as much skiing time as I wanted. Along with that, on February 3rd my coach and inspiration, Andy McDowell had a tragic ski accident, and did not make it. Following this was tons of emotions, and thoughts of whether or not I wanted to keep skiing. But I know Andy would've thought I was out of my mind thinking that, so here are my best clips from my 2018/19 season.
It’s the second year that the X Games has hosted the all-urban skiing video competition, and this year’s list of contestants includes some of the biggest names in the ever-evolving world of urban skiing. Tom Wallisch, Henrik Harlaut, Magnus Graner, Khai Krepela, LJ Strenio and defending Real Ski gold medalist Will Wesson all dropped new 100-second-long clips for the contest, and it’s hard to pick just one to highlight. Made an edit for an Instagram competition that ended up getting me a free week at Woodward Copper.
Was planning on cutting together a season edit but ended up being too lazy so my segment from the @drinkbutter movie is doubling as my season edit.
