Always fun to see what an entire seasons effort brings together. Put some hard work into this one and had a ton of fun. Thanks to everybody who I skied with this season, it was one for the books! Also I have to give a big thanks to Line, Full Tilt, Stio, Smith, Momentous, Noso, and Backcountry Zero for supporting me year after year, y’all are the best.
Some shots from a few days on the dad cam at Crested Butte. Thanks Majesty Skis America, Tall T, and Ryft Optics!
In 2016, Jessy made the cut for Level 1 Productions Superunknown Finals. But before the event, he blew his knee and had to sit out the competition. Two years and five episodes later, ParTimEverything showed up at Winter Park ready and hungry. Check out the unique styling and keen editing style. Good on ya, Mr. Desjardins. Special thanks go to all the people involved in this one. Precision: A term typically bestowed upon the engineering of luxury cars, high-end electronics, and chemical formulations. So how could an imperfect human's actions be described as precise? By what metric, standard, or baseline would we measure the precise execution of maneuvers in relation to their relative impact on stoke? PxS=I2, or S=PxI2, or even the perception of P2=SI2? Precision being it's own stoke multiplier provides precisely the correct ratio of fuel for fun, fantastic feats and fearless functions. This slightly less than precise description, having previously been used in a moderately varied and thus precisely imprecise exact quote becomes it's own stoke transmutater, as a classic example similar to transforming human precision, in it's imperfection, into patterns perceived perfectly precise. So ponder for a moment, are these maneuvers precise due to their precision, or is their precision found in the precise achievement of a, or rather the, reaction they previously targeted to evoke, with which they, in my humble opinion, succeed precisely. And precisely why then, if top the tater is so delicious on potatoes and their fried & chipped counterparts, does nary a potato chip company offer a top the tater flavor. I've seen pepperocini & vineger, sour pickle, and even peanut butter, but not a tater topped, and I dare say, were they to, the satisfaction to the senses would be precisely similar to the satisfaction and the stoke experienced via the indulgence of Episode 7, Volume 3 - Human Being : Precise. Steve dedicates his final Trollin episode to the industry that he lived and worked in for 15+ years. This film documents not only his life. but the corruption, greed and exploitive tendencies of the ski industry. The truth is here. Primary video: Alex Curry (https://vimeo.com/opticrhythm)
Injuries. Inspiration. Intolerable weather. Filmers and skiers can face many obstacles in their quest to document stoke. To get the job done, human beings just need to get.... resourceful.... Welcome to the first installment of THIS IS ARMADA, an inside look into the people who make Armada what it is. It’s been 12 plus years now that Phil Casabon, aka Bdog, has been pushing the limits of skiing as part of #ARfamily. From first getting picked up by JP to winning X-Games Real Street last season, Phil has never given any sign of slowing down. Sit back and hear all about Phil’s journey with Armada and what the future will bring. Cut by : Brady Perron
de·ci·sive * /dəˈsīsiv/ * adjective Settling an issue; producing a definite result. (of a person) having or showing the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively. Results... You can have the best intentions, most noble aspirations, loftiest goals, and endless enthusiasm, but if you don't have results, you don't have anything to show. These Troll Park Crew x Troll/Midwest locals have something to show. A story to tell. An onslaught of visually stunning, physics-defying good times. And each trick, each twist, each hammer, began with a decision. Make the decision to check it out, and get stoked. Jessy Desjardins and Philippe Clairoux took a road trip across the United-States seeking places to ski wether it was on mountains or in cities.
Holidays in the park. Things get compressed. Filmer time. Spines. It's a short window full of endless opportunities to feed the demand for attention. And these humans filled it with ham & rockets. Trollhaugen Human Being, Ep 2 for the season, is the gift that keeps on giving. Just when you think the ridiculousness has reached maximum stoke, Neeson happens. It's all so good. Skol to the skiers! Last year, after 10+ years of competing in Slopestyle, I switched my focus to backcountry jumping. It turned out to be a good choice. By the end of January it had snowed 300 inches in Utah and all the classic hits in Little Cottonwood Canyon were good to go. It was an unbelievable season, from sessions on Pyramid and Flagstaff gap, Catskiing at Fernie Wilderness Adventures to pondskimming and partying at Lost Trail Powder Mountain in the spring. I had more great times in the mountains with amazing humans than any other season and they're memories I'll never forget. Hope ya'll dig it and get stoked to shred!! Henrik Harlaut, aka Dollo, is the don of style, and exactly what skiing needs. In the 7+ years, we have been working with Dollo, his skiing has propagated some of the most progressive equipment we have ever made. Take a look into Henrik's mind and time with Armada in the second installment of our new video series #ThisIsArmada Edited by Brady Perron
Best of times with the KFskis.com squad skiing and touring around the Wasatch. Thanks to all the homies who made last season another one for the books! Big shout out to KFskis and Planks Clothing for keeping it real! - Tanner Boudreau
When the hill is closed but the shred is calling, we answer..
I had the season of my life last winter up in Revelstoke with a some good friends! It was epic to explore a rad new zone with some of my best amigos! This is my full 16/17 season cut. Get stoked on this winter!!
The West Coast Session is one of the most unique ski events held annually in May at Mt. Hood, Oregon. We met up with Liberty team riders Teal Harle and Max Moffat in Vancouver and made the trip down the coast. West Coast Sessions is the last event of the year where the best park riders from around the globe gather. Everyone gets together and sessions one of the best spring parks for a week. There are no judges, no officials, just a good group of friends that love skiing. This is our favourite event of the year and we are stoked to be a part of the very last West Coast Session. We hope you enjoy the video recap of our time in the Pacific Northwest. http://libertyskis.com/
Another season, another edit... The Cascades keep me stoked on shredding every year, so I'm going to hang around for a while. Thanks to everyone who filmed, and thanks everyone who went soul skiing with me on all those days without a camera. On Location @: Stevens Pass, Alpental, Summit at Snoqualmie, Whistler/Blackcomb, Timberline Lodge Thanks for the support: K2 Skis, Northwest Tech, Evo, Dromas, and Summit Parks Last but not least...remember kiddos turning is important, so pick up some poles and learn how to carve.

First solo edit I've done in a while. Pieced this one together with iphone, gopro, and a couple of random RED Epic shots. Super fun break back home with all the homies, but now its back to UVM for school. Thanks to everybody who made the break so sick! Also big thanks to Garrett Weintrob and Sam Roubin (RED Shots), Line, Full Tilt, Stio, Smith, Backcountry Zero, Momentous, and Noso.
Riding Revelstoke in Jan was awesome, it is for sure one of my favourite resorts in the world. It's a totally different style of riding to places like Verbier or the European Alps (generally speaking) You spend most of your time searching for hidden features in the forests, skiing pillow lines and sending drops between trees. It is a heap of fun, and super cool to mix things up by returning there for the first time in about 5 years! Huge thanks to Valley Retreat for hooking me up with a place to stay while I was in town! Their set up is rad, and if you are looking for a cool place to crash it is definitely worth checking out here - http://www.valleyretreat.ca/ https://www.instagram.com/sam_ibex_lee/ https://www.facebook.com/SamLeeFreerider/ The song in this edit is one I chucked together, it is called Faux Title, and you can check it out on my SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/oam-the-seagull/faux-title?in=oam-the-seagull/sets/a-bay-inland
