It’s the second year that the X Games has hosted the all-urban skiing video competition, and this year’s list of contestants includes some of the biggest names in the ever-evolving world of urban skiing. Tom Wallisch, Henrik Harlaut, Magnus Graner, Khai Krepela, LJ Strenio and defending Real Ski gold medalist Will Wesson all dropped new 100-second-long clips for the contest, and it’s hard to pick just one to highlight. Scott Nelson and I linked up a lot this summer to gather as much footage as possible from Woodward's Big Island Park. Each weekend the park crew would rearrange the features so there was always something new to film. Here is some of the footage we came up with for our final edit.

I had a wild time this season traveling on the FWQ circuit and getting dumped on almost every day at home in Tahoe. I had my season cut short by a few months this time around and did not really get a chance to do any filming, so here's what I was able to pull together from GoPros and iPhones. Enjoy! I was lucky enough to travel to Hakuba, Japan this last winter for 5 weeks of glorious pow skiing. Lots of pow in Washington and some volcano action mixed in to top off one incredible season. Huge thanks to everyone that helped me out and made it all possible!
70/30, a short urban film featuring Sam Zahner, Calvin Barrett, Mike Cappola and Seamus Flanagan. Filmed, edited and produced by the riders, 70/30 features skiing in Colorado, Utah, Minnesota and New York City. Premiering at if3 October 26-29, and releasing online for free as a two-part movie in early November.
