While You Were At The Beach // Not Your Average Summer Skiing Edit

Not your average summer skiing edit. All of this was filmed between June 1st and September 1st. This summer may have been the best summer of my life. I was fortunate enough to take two cross country road trips on top of a few long weekend adventures. I traveled to regions of the country that I never thought I would see and I slept in my car most of the way but it was worth it because I got to ski in tons of amazing places including three national parks during a span of four days. This summer has proven to me once again that skiing will take my life to heights I can't imagine.

An aftermovie of sorts to sum up an epic winter in Utah at Alta, I tried to compile most of the footage from the year into one video. Being a east coaster spending a full ski season out west was a dream. Alta totaled around 530 inches before the season officially closed. Voiceover by Liam O'Reilly. Pure California Corn - Mt. Shasta

I took a trip up to the Shasta Area on May 3rd and 4th. I started hiking around 3am and made my way to the summit 10 hours later. A 7,000 vertical foot descent was my prize. The snow was sublime and the skiing was pristine the entire way back to the Bunny Flat trail head. A worthwhile first experience at Shasta.

Gem Lake Couloir off of Trapper Peak in the southern Bitterroots. Skiing is not in slow motion. I just went really slow to avoid death. Type 2 kind of fun as they say in the streets.

Park was closed this season

All my favorite shots from utah's unreal 18-19 winter so far, not including park stuff (that'll come after my trip to mt hood). This was my 10th season skiing the wasatch mountains and it was by far my favorite. Dropped out of school, built more jumps, toured up more peaks, and overall had more powder filled smiles this season than I ever have. There's still a little bit of skiing left to be had, but I wanted to make an edit of what I've done so far. Thanks for filming Stephen Pille, Dixon Lewis, Jeff Stevens, Jason Child and anyone I may have forgotten, you guys rock like a narrow canoe.

5 months of skiing
