70/30, a short urban film featuring Sam Zahner, Calvin Barrett, Mike Cappola and Seamus Flanagan. Filmed, edited and produced by the riders, 70/30 features skiing in Colorado, Utah, Minnesota and New York City. Premiering at if3 October 26-29, and releasing online for free as a two-part movie in early November.

Ian Hamilton - Soft Landings

Last year, after 10+ years of competing in Slopestyle, I switched my focus to backcountry jumping. It turned out to be a good choice. By the end of January it had snowed 300 inches in Utah and all the classic hits in Little Cottonwood Canyon were good to go. It was an unbelievable season, from sessions on Pyramid and Flagstaff gap, Catskiing at Fernie Wilderness Adventures to pondskimming and partying at Lost Trail Powder Mountain in the spring. I had more great times in the mountains with amazing humans than any other season and they're memories I'll never forget. Hope ya'll dig it and get stoked to shred!! Riding Revelstoke in Jan was awesome, it is for sure one of my favourite resorts in the world. It's a totally different style of riding to places like Verbier or the European Alps (generally speaking) You spend most of your time searching for hidden features in the forests, skiing pillow lines and sending drops between trees. It is a heap of fun, and super cool to mix things up by returning there for the first time in about 5 years! Huge thanks to Valley Retreat for hooking me up with a place to stay while I was in town!
