With tons of different weather and some bumps in the road this year, ski season ended up being super rad. This is my year end edit made up of my favourite clips from the 2017 season. WHEN SKIING CHANGES YOU LIFE. After 19 years i got my dad back to skiing and this completely changed his life. After been of the skis for 19 years, my dad needed a bit of instruction and with my help he immediately picked up the new teknik that makes carving skis a blast to ski on. Now I have a hard time getting him of. He is 68 years old, and this shows that even it you are over 60, it is no problem skiing. So pick up those skis and get out there and have fun. /Pete

This video is our contribution to a film competition with a charitable purposes, organized by the Moving Mountain. The money Moving Mountain earned during this event was given to Protect out Winters and St Anton Mountain Rescue. During 2,5 days you had to film and edit a ski movie, which was done on March 9 to 11. The first day offered really bad weather with massive amounts of rain. During day Two the sun came out but due to heavy snowfall at high altitudes and other hazards large parts of the system here in St Anton was closed. This contributed to the fact that large parts of the filming was done on day 2. Day 3 invited sun and heat, but the whole day was spent to edit and submit the film. After really bad circumstances, camera trouble and computer trouble we was done and handed in the film. It did not go as planned, but we gave it our best. The storyline of our film is that Gustav Haglund dreams that he founds a magic bandana (Moving Mountain bandana) that makes him a good skier. First time out west. 2 weeks in CO. Late March - early April. This has a touch of everything (mostly staring at the tips of my skiis); ; Abay gaper day, sunny park laps, deep April pow, some small hikes, big bowls, and exploring all the bits of Colorado white in between. This is my first time skiing at my house ever. Never had a good set up. Got surprised by the snow and took advantage of it. Just set up a 2x4 over a box in front of a short metal bench. Had a ton of fun with this even tho its such a suspect set up lol. Low and behold my very mediocre skills.
