I've never made a season edit before, but because this year was so sick, I figured why the heck not. So, after dozens of minutes of editing, here is what my GoPro and some cell phones captured this winter.
Best powder day of the season so far! Two skin laps in some freezing conditions proved to be worth it, getting deep out there!
This is my winning run from The North Face Frontier FWQ 4* freeride comp in New Zealand in August 2016. This year was the first time the comp has run as a four star rated event, so people were throwing down some pretty cool stuff! I actually changed my plan half way through the run as the cliff I was planning to hit scared the shit out of me as I got closer to it, so I went to plan B for the bottom section. Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :) Cheers to those who make this possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley and GoPro. Only really used the gopro 4 times this past season for various reasons including going to school, missing a couple ligaments in my knee, and not getting too much snow. Feeling the ski itch now though so i threw this lil guy together.
