BC Family Day – February 12th, 2018 On the second Monday of February, British Columbians celebrate Family Day, taking extra time to enjoy activities with their loved ones. In 2018, Family Day falls on Monday, February 12. Minister Lisa Beare Happy BC Family Day! On behalf of Premier John Horgan and the Government of British Columbia, I wish you an enjoyable Family Day weekend with loved ones. BC Family Day is a celebration of family life, and a reminder of the importance of spending time with family. I’m very pleased that my Ministry has funded family-friendly events and activities throughout the province, which you and your loved ones can enjoy for free. I hope you will take this opportunity to discover areas of British Columbia that are new to you, or to rediscover familiar places. The B.C. Government is proud to support these special community celebrations. We want to ensure Family Day events are accessible to everyone. I’d like to thank the organizations for their dedication and hard work in planning free community events. I wish you all a safe, enjoyable BC Family Day. Lisa Beare Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture

I decided to switch it up from my classic Season recap style. This time, instead of using as many shots as possible, I added the tricks that meant the most to me and the ones that were the most fun. I know most of you have already seen these clips, but i felt that if I didn't make this edit then all of these shots would be lost on Instagram for the rest of eternity [laughs]. Filmers: Aiden Ulrich, Charlie Scott, Mitch Zyzelewski, Dave Euler, Ryan McElmon, Gavin Rudy, Alex Havey, Reed Lewis, Bubba Newby, Lennon Vaughan, Cal Carson, Nick Belleville, Sam Gaskin Songs: Looking Glass- Brandy 21 Savage- Rap Saved Me Handsome Furs- All We Want, Baby, Is Everything Locations: Park City, Mammoth, Jackson, New Zealand, Mt. Hood, Colorado Thank you for watching :)

Some of the best terrain on the planet can only be accessed by the quick, coordinated, and surgical flight pattern of a helicopter. In this short, Eric Pollard and and Karl Fostvedt pack their bags for the western shoreline of Kootenay Lake, just outside of Nelson, BC., for a heli trip for the books. When the bird lifts off the ground and the pilot’s voice comes through the headphones – only the powder slashes, butters, and cliff drops that dreams are made of lay ahead. Good thing these guys brought their snorkels – it was well overhead out there… For more info visit dakine.com

After a small storm in April last year, I learned a lesson in sluff management that nearly rocked me. Im not trying to glorify avalanches, but if I post the good I should post the bad.
