These are my runs from the 2011 Junior Freeskiing Nationals at Crystal Mountain, Washington. The filmer missed the top part of my run on day 1. That run put me in 3rd place. Last year I saw that feature and decided I wanted to throw a cork 7 off it during my competition run. I went for it but I punch frontfliped out of the trick. This brought me down to 13th place in the overall standings. I still had a great time and Team Summit killed it!! We took 1st and 2nd place in the 15-17 Boys category. Crystal Mountain was awesome!! Thanks to Team Summit, my coaches, Jason Anthony and Ryan Van Nuys, Smith Optics, Faction Skis, and Backcountry Access.
My run from the CrestedButte Jr. extremes championships. Kinda went overboard on editing... Tell me what you think

TGR is proud to release the first episode of Behind The Line season 3. Behind The Line is a series where we feature a unique line, jump, or session from the filming of TGR's 2011 ski film, Light The Wick. Watch as athletes take a look back at these insane moments and discuss them, providing an in depth look Behind The Line of Light The Wick. This week's episode joins Sage Cattabriga-Alosa as he develops a new trick--a flat spin--during the season and goes huge with it in Alaska. As Sage describes, "It's like a video game...once your special meter's ramped you can do crazy tricks...it's kind of the same. That thing is pinging and you know it and you feel it and it's time to go."
threw together an edit from some old footage on my hard drive more o come later

A fun Monday morning filming for the first time with the GoPro. The second of the three runs I got on film, was on Plummet and had some really fun wind buff. The first 2 runs, I fumbled the shutter button and ended up taking a picture instead. The line was even better for those. Also, anthems wouldn't have been my choice, but my SFB's are getting warrantied
Last year my gopro popped of my head and was lost in deep snow. I thought it was gone forever, until my buddy found it in the summer. It still works and this is the footage from that blower day.
This is my run from the 2011 Kirkwood Junior Freeskiing Championships. There was so much snow in Kirkwood that the event was turned into a single run contest. We didn't get to ski on an awesome venue because of the high avalanche danger all over the mountain. This run placed 7th. Thanks to Team Summit, my coaches, Ryan Van Nuys and Jason Anthony, Faction Skis, Smith Optics, and Backcountry Access.
A week later its still good perfecteded ghetto helmetcam...for the record that's a digicam, and its strapped into my chinstrap..."mouthcam" is born
