All round my brother, bit of pow bit of jumps and always a bit of crashing with the GOPRO
As I sit at home with a bum leg I decided to start putting out a webisode series. So I sent my good friend Sam Cohen off with the new HD GoPro and told him to get some cool shots. I'm going to create a new episode at least every other week. My goal is to capture what it is like to be a local skier up Little Cottonwood Canyon and what our view of skiing is. Enjoy!
Sammy Carlson produced one of the most impressive performances in TGR's 2010 ski film, Light The Wick. TGR is pumped to share this standout segment with the Newschooler community. Enjoy! For more info on Light The Wick go to TetonGravity.com/LightTheWick. To get a Sammy Carlson Limited Edition Signature Tee go to TetonGravity.com/SammyTee. They are going quick and only available until February 10, 2011.

My brother and i went up to the mountain after hearing that we got 15 inches of fresh. it turned out to be quite a bit more. to put things in perspective, the slope in the vid was bare grass the day before. i ski the first run and he skis second. his is a little blurry but he still managed to act like a 4 year old in the snow.

At the end of January 2010 Teton Village finally got the big dump its been waiting for; locals called it the "Quintessential Jackson Hole Powder Day". With such epic conditions Todd Ligare, Shroder Baker, and the TGR Production crew headed into the backcountry to capture one of deepest days of the year. The crew racked up some powder shots while the athletes got their fix of face shots. This is our first episode in our second season of Almost Live.

Riding Revelstoke in Jan was awesome, it is for sure one of my favourite resorts in the world. It's a totally different style of riding to places like Verbier or the European Alps (generally speaking) You spend most of your time searching for hidden features in the forests, skiing pillow lines and sending drops between trees. It is a heap of fun, and super cool to mix things up by returning there for the first time in about 5 years! Huge thanks to Valley Retreat for hooking me up with a place to stay while I was in town! Their set up is rad, and if you are looking for a cool place to crash it is definitely worth checking out here - http://www.valleyretreat.ca/ https://www.instagram.com/sam_ibex_lee/ https://www.facebook.com/SamLeeFreerider/ The song in this edit is one I chucked together, it is called Faux Title, and you can check it out on my SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/oam-the-seagull/faux-title?in=oam-the-seagull/sets/a-bay-inland
