Always fun to see what an entire seasons effort brings together. Put some hard work into this one and had a ton of fun. Thanks to everybody who I skied with this season, it was one for the books! Also I have to give a big thanks to Line, Full Tilt, Stio, Smith, Momentous, Noso, and Backcountry Zero for supporting me year after year, y’all are the best.
First solo edit I've done in a while. Pieced this one together with iphone, gopro, and a couple of random RED Epic shots. Super fun break back home with all the homies, but now its back to UVM for school. Thanks to everybody who made the break so sick! Also big thanks to Garrett Weintrob and Sam Roubin (RED Shots), Line, Full Tilt, Stio, Smith, Backcountry Zero, Momentous, and Noso.
Trev Ev throwing a backie off of A-Frame.
First day using the GoPro Hero HD and second day skiing of the season. Conditions were less than optimal with 50km winds, blowing snow, and low visibility. For future shots I am going to angle the camera forward as I found it to shoot a little too high where I mounted it. Once I am happy with the shots I am going to start a POV video blog, so look out for that.
This is a video of Bernardo, JC, and myself skiing Sky Pilot Couloir off James Peak, Colorado. Notice the no-fall zone at the top before we traverse across. Little did we know just how big a fall that would have been. Next year, we plan to do what is called Shooting Star which is directly above the line we skied.
This is a short and sweet little vid of Ian "Cheddar" Watson. Cheddar is a ripper who is as passionate as they come. His gear has holes and patches and insulation falling out. He has a 12,000 dollar sled to get him to the goods and a 500 dollar truck. He's broke as can be, but always with a smile on his face. This vid hopefully helps him win some new gear in the doglotion.com Big Mountain Freeskier Search. Music is by BoomBaptist of Archivist Records. Track is Albert Jones Lost My Love. myspace.com/boombaptist archivistrecords.com To see Cheddar's full segment look for the debut full length release from Dendrite Studios coming soon. dendritestudios.com
