Mellow day at Mt.Hood Meadows. About 18" of fresh powder around the mountain. RIP CRJ Shot with Gopro and Flip
One night at snoqualmie, one day at crystal, and a whole lot of fresh snow.
This is the intro reel that i was asked to make for the first annual Revelstoke Film Festival. Basically just a promotional commercial for Revelstoke Mountain Resort
This is an edit I made to show people just how good the snow in Revelstoke is and how deep it always is. This was filmed over the course of winter break and into January. The snow just keeps on coming. Enjoy! Stay tuned to the next instalment of RMR coming soon!
Skiing in Jackson, Best shots from the first half of the winter
"when you're skiing, enjoying life like that, there's no worries, it's all good and it's a super fortunate and beautiful way to live life".
Episode 2 joins the TGR crew on top of Jackson Hole's Rendezvous Mountain at the entrance to the S & S Couloir. Watch as Griffin Post, Todd Ligare, Shroder Baker, Josh Dirksen and Jason Tattersall drop a cliff into the legendary couloir. As Tattersall describes, "It doesn't matter how many times you come here, you still wonder if you're going to smack hard." One For The Road's Almost Live is a web series where we follow the TGR production team and athletes around the globe as they shoot their 2011 ski film, One For The Road. It provides insight into the lives of the world's top riders as we take an inside look at what goes into first descents, building and hitting massive backcountry jumps and traveling throughout the most exotic locales on the planet. "Almost Live" plants you on location with our crew in the middle of the action. Stay tuned throughout the season and watch the drama unfold through through series page here: http://www.tetongravity.com/videos/series/behind_the_line.aspx.
A few laps during the storm Whistler had last week.
"On The Road with Solitaire" is a 12-part webisode series following Sweetgrass Productions in the making of their new 2-year project, the South American backcountry ski and snowboarding film "Solitaire." New episodes will be released on the 21st of every month. Episode I introduces Solitaire and some of the landscapes the crew encountered in their first season of filming in the snowbound badlands of the Southern Hemisphere. In the high desert of South America, winter takes hold, devouring bleached bones and abandoned shacks. Into these most inhospitable of lands, a handful of drifters emerge from the whiteout, ready to cast their lot on forsaken peaks both merciless and magnificent. Solitaire fuses western-inspired tales of backcountry gambles into landscapes never before visited on film. sweetgrass-productions.com
Shredding the backcountry pow gnar in Pemberton. Snowmobiles up, skis and snowboards down. The best.
They allude to it in the final sentence below, but this is my rebuttal to Unofficial Jackson's complaints about today's conditions. Oh, and the mother nature will have added 5-10" by tomorrow when you watch this. "The inbounds skiing on Jackson is still recovering. The upper elevations north facing shots still have a chalky softer base for this new snow to sit upon. But, most of the mountain still needs more snow to cover up this hard base left from the warm week. If you are willing to do some walking or skinning, there is still some great snow."
