I skied cautiously following shoulder surgery this season, which meant keeping my skis on the ground. I still had lots of fun, especially during these trips to Buffalo Pass and Silverton Mountain.

Five friends made the long journey to the land of the rising sun, only to find themselves rushing to catch trains all across Japan. While they rode the rails across the land they were able to find many lesser explored areas. Along the way they made new friends, explored the local culture and shredded the deepest pow known to man. After living around the Wasatch Mountains for the past 5 years I was leaving town. Not much else to do but ski like there was no tomorrow (or next week for my situation). From Mt.
