We met up with Logan Imlach for a day of shredding and filming in the backcountry. Mellow pow lines with a rad crew!
For six years we have tried to create entertaining edits at our home mountain, Alta. After many seasons of trials and tribulations, we finally have quality camera work, and a solid set of soldj's who are hungry for shots.
I got a chance to go cat skiing at Mustang cat ski operation just out of Revelstoke and had some great turns.

This is straight up helmet cam pow footage from my first 3 days on snow for the season. Nothing major just a whole lot of fun! Most of it is filmed at Bruson on day one, and there are also a couple shots from Verbier. Link to my Blog - samleefreeskiing.blogspot.ch/
Apparently it doesn't snow in Tahoe anymore. Here's a all powder mix to remind what it used to be like.

In season 6 episode 5 of Teton Gravity Research?s Behind The Line, our heli pilot along with athletes Sammy Carlson, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Angel Collinson and Ian McIntosh redefine what?s possible in skiing. For the past decade, pilot Tighe Daugherty, has helped the athletes reach new and daunting terrain in Alaska. With an emphasis on safety, Daugherty?s skills as a pilot serve as a catalyst for our athlete?s creativity, enabling them to explore beyond their comfort zone and secure gnarly first descents. Here the crew ventures into the Cathedral Zone, an area deep in the Neacola Mountains. Behind the Line is a series that takes you into the minds of the TGR athletes. Each episode features a unique line, jump, or session as athletes take a look back and discuss the moment. The series gives you an in depth look Behind The Line of these incredible film moments. With the entrance to a perfect Alaskan line with his name on it blocked by a truck-sized overhanging cornice, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa resorts to hacking out a drop-in point with his skis. With the clock ticking and a 150-foot cliff waiting to devore Sage below the first turn, will he make it in?
Just showing what a beautiful tuesday day at my home resort Powder Mountain is like
