War of Rails 2014

I had the chance to drive up to Big Bear and live in my car for 3 days during the annual Under Armour War of Rails competition. I jumped at the chance to be able to film this event. War of Rails invites professional free skiers from around the globe to compete in this contest. This event has become a one of a kind competition over the last 5 years. Although I tried to get access to film the event, it just so happened to be sponsored by Ion Cameras, so I had to do a lot of sneaking and hopping of fences in order to get the footage that I did. I got kicked out of multiple areas, but it was all worth it. The weather was pretty crappy, and the event had to be moved back a day because of it, but the riders still went hard.

Haven't had time to film much in college, and my editor hasn't had much time to edit. So I threw together this little self edit with some footage from the past three years. Big thanks to Sebastian Allen for all the footage, my editing doesn't do it justice. Also thanks to Robert Amberger for that beautiful 450 in the first shot.
