Home Wordd II

This film is a self reflection on the feeling one gets from skiing. An attempt to capture the mindset for why we subject our physical and metaphysical selves to the elements and the unknown. A study of expression and passion. It is a response to life changing experiences shared with loved ones, all while rooted in the outdoors. "Home Wordd II" is particularly special to me considering I shot it prior to sustaining a traumatic brain injury, and completed the project concurrently with my healing process. The release of this piece is truly representative of not just returning to where I was before the injury, but celebrating the growth which has occurred from it. This film is as much a part of myself as it is a piece of the people I am surrounded by, nothing but endless love for everyone in this video and for those who made it possible. Although I lost months and memories, I was able to regain each day I had in the mountains with my friends because of these clips. Liberty Skis // Spring Vacation 2.0

As the season winds down and the spring days get warmer, skiers from across North America migrate to Whistler, BC. Liberty athlete Max Moffatt flew into Vancouver in hopes of riding a couple weeks of spring park with Teal Harle. The early days of the trip was a constant struggle battling the wet coastal weather. Liberty Skis // Max Moffatt "Roots"

We visit Liberty Skis athlete Max Moffatt in his hometown of Caledon, Ontario, to see what it is like to grow up skiing in Eastern Canada. The project reveals a behind the scenes look into where everything started for the 18 year-old Canadian National Slopestyle Team athlete. The journey begins in Max's back yard at Caledon Ski Resort. The resort is home to a tight-knit group of of die-hard skiers, including the Moffatt family. Moffatt spent his early days learning to ski at the hill, and then later joined the Caledon race team. The resort plays a huge part in the love and passion that Max has today for skiing. After a few days at home, Max headed to Mount St. Louis Moonstone. What the resort lacks in vertical feet it makes up for with the world-class terrain park; it is home to some of the best skiers in the world. The countryside of Sweden isn't exactly the place that comes to your mind when you think of skiing, but what could you come up with if you had to put a limit to the area you had to work with? Kim Boberg and Oliver Karlberg set out to film a movie in a place called Alvdalen, to use what you got instead of seeing whats not there. This movie was filmed within the area of a maximum range of 1-hour drive away from Alvdalen. Just came home from 1 month discovering the wonders of Japan where we had the luck to film 3 different edits in 3 different resorts of the Northern Island : Hokkaido. It's been a dream coming true to be able to ski that light fresh powder Niseko had to offer, we tried to film / ski and edit something different that we use you to, it is also the first time I produce a "backcountry edit" so I hope you'll have fun watching :) Cheers to those who make this possible : Volkl, Dakine, Oakley and GoPro. After surprisingly being invited for Superunknown XV in Winter Park Colorado, I didn't want to fly to the USA for just a week, so I talked with fellow finalists Simon Bartik and Jessy Desjardins and we organised what became the best road-trip of my life. I joined Simon, Jessy, Carlo Mion, Philippe Clairoux, Philippe Gaucher and Kevin Desjardins in Portland where we later drove to California and Colorado trough some epic scenery.
