Greatest hits from my second season of POV JOURNAL entries! Despite injuries and exams I still managed to get out and smash pillows all winter while exploring Rogers Pass and Revelstoke Backcountry.
Helmet cam footy from the unofficialsquaw.com game of GNAR trip to AK
Powder Day at Sierra Summit. Snow was a little heavy but it was still super fun.
I have two edits for the 09/10 season. One for the cloudy days and the other for the sunny. These movies document my skiing in the back country and at my home resort Red Mountain with "close" resorts Revelstoke and White Water. Do what you love, love what you do.
Little december edit... good times in squaw when it used to snow here.
Over half a meter of fresh snow at Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village provides perfect conditions for the first episode of BanffSnow.com

In our wildest dreams we could not have dreamed of terrain like this. Sage Cattabriga-Alosa again steps out of his comfort bubble and steps out on top of Dr. Seuss, a line pioneered by Jeremy Jones. A feeling of elation and amazement of survival overwhelms Sage as he coasts through the rest of the day beyond content.
This is my winning run from The North Face Frontier FWQ 4* freeride comp in New Zealand in August 2016. This year was the first time the comp has run as a four star rated event, so people were throwing down some pretty cool stuff! I actually changed my plan half way through the run as the cliff I was planning to hit scared the shit out of me as I got closer to it, so I went to plan B for the bottom section. It was a great day and I am stoked to see such a highly rated event run in NZ! the-ibex.kiwi/ facebook.com/SamLeeFreerider/?ref=page_internal instagram.com/sam_ibex_lee/

We finally go to ski some pow so here are a couple shot.
Parker White hit up a few top secret zones off Vail Pass with Chris Logan and Tanner Rainville the other day in the middle of the latest storm cycle to bury Colorado. P White loves doing frontflips, even in 4 feet of fresh pow.
It's always nice at Alta. Filmed in February and march. Thanks friends and family. I love skiing.
A lil too keen to giver.. Freeride World Tour event in Austria, ended up dislocating my shoulder and elbow.
Stupidly thought a frontlip would be a good idea - fortunatly this didnt really hurt!!
Sort of a highlight reel from the last two months of the season.
Rounded together some shots from last season to make this, hope you enjoy! Big thanks to Dakine and Rossignol

This week's Behind the Line focuses on Dylan Hood and his growth as a TGR athlete. Faced with challenges during a trip to Europe, the crew must get creative in spicing up otherwise unspectacular lines. Dylan's solution? To rip his line switch. As Steve Jones describes: "Dylan kinda of shrugged and matter-of-factly was like, 'that's not a bad idea, maybe I'll try that.' I was filming from across the valley and the next thing I know he drops into that thing switch and ripped the heck out of it."
