The trip started of good with stable snowpack and powder to the knees, but typically it got warm on the second day. It was still a lot of fun though, and even if the snow got pretty bad we still went out to ski. You just had to get a bit more creative and step down from the bigger terrain, everything was was a lot different from Norway so it didn´t matter that much to me. And I really like jibs such as the little natural quarterpipe almost as much as skiing powder anyways. You don´t have to look for just cliffs, lines or building jumps when you´re looking for natural terrain. This was my first trip overseas and I must say I liked it a lot! Definitely going back!"

Early January the snow got really stable up high and we took full advantage of the adventure skiing there was to be had! A short backcountry film around Sam Smoothy and Fraser McDougall sending it in their backyard of Mt Cook National Park in New Zealand.
This was my first season not skiing park in Minnesota and it was great! I skied a little urban, less park, and mostly big mountain at Snowbird. I can't wait until next season when I can clean everything up, go bigger and do some tricks!
