This is a mash up edit of all my best bits from Last season in Europe. No fancy filler shots just skiing. Most of the clips are shot in Verbier. The last shot is of me blowing my knee in the second run of the qualifier day at the Nendaz 4* Music- Tame Impala , Apocalypse Dreams Filming- Everyone.
While cameras often immortalize their descents, Teton Gravity Research athletes are just as likely to find adventure when not filming?or, for that matter, skiing and snowboarding. Such was the case when Max Hammer, Griffin Post, Mark Carter, and Angel Collinson embarked on a multi-day camping mission to ski and snowboard big lines in Grand Teton National Park. With the help of Exum Mountain Guides, the athletes rode several of Mt. Moran's classic routes. Yet their time off the mountain was just as memorable. Whether repairing tent poles, just lounging around camp, or laying down iconic lines, each day was an adventure. One of the best ski movie segments in history, in my opinion. It has a really great feel to it. Had to post it up.
the All Us In Winterland crew venturing out into the backcountry to find some untouched terrain in YMIR lodge and Rogers Pass. Taking a different approach to touring and finding some sweet zones which are super accessible.

Footage from a deep day in january. Lost my gopro when it broke off my helmet. Thankfully i was able to find it this spring when I hiked back up the run.

Plagued with bad snow conditions and injuries the 2013/14 season was looking grim, then March turned it on. We went at it hard for a good month and this was the result. Lots of skiing, crashes and good times.
Our 3 week trip to Hakuba in February was abruptly cut two weeks short due to injury... But that one week we had was epic.
Pro riders may pass hundreds of hours waiting for the ideal weather in which to film their exploits. These hours can serve as a catalyst for pranks?and sometimes shit just goes a little further than expected. Such was the case when Jeremy Jones and members of the TGR production crew traveled to Svalbard to film for Further. During this trip, Dan Gibeau, a rookie member of the production crew, became the victim of a practical joke. Once Gibeau?s colleagues put their prank into motion, their acting and antics proved far more believable than they had imagined. Consequently, the outcome of their prank managed to surprise not only Gibeau, but also themselves.

This was shot in early March after we had finally gotten some snow. Mammoth is the most fun when there isn't a ton of snow. There are more cliffs, the hill is steeper, and when the wind blows right it's flat as a board. These shots are from one of the funnest weeks of my year!
