Some of the pillows and powder I was lucky enough to shred this winter! Enjoy
Blackout showcases bottomless pow and backcountry jumps in Revelstoke as well as steep, technical lines in Alaska. The action is complemented nicely by a narrative that portays an experience with a season-ending injury.
Short film made by my friends and I for a local ski film contest.
In this episode of Teton Gravity Research's Behind the Line, Tim Durtschi explores the Kootenays of British Columbia. Rather than applying his skills to man-made features, he turns the entire mountain into his canvas. After identifying a zone riddled with spines, Durtschi carefully studies the entrance to it. Despite having to drop into his line from a cornice and land on a narrow perch, he embraces the descent - a line that he considers to be one of the most challenging he skied last winter. Behind the Line is a series that takes you into the minds of the TGR athletes. Each episode features a unique line, jump, or session as athletes take a look back and discuss the moment. The series gives you an in depth look Behind The Line of these incredible film moments. A few shots i've accumulated over the past year in Whistler. It's nothing too crazy and I know these lines have all been skied a bigillion times, but the fun I had skiing them was just unreal. Too bad I had to cut the audio, I was yelling of happiness after every single one of those shots. I will be back one day :) Enjoy.
The results of the WePowder Alert 15 & 16 in the Italian Alps! A road trip video of our experience in the Mont Blanc Area!
The second instalment of Blade Nation season 2. Coming right to your optic nerve from Switzerland! I didn't think we were taking this so seriously, but it looks like we have seasons now. So that's pretty fruity. But I guess we all progressed so far over the first "season", to become the most highly skilled Bladers on the whole entire mountain. So its probably justified. This is all filmed in Verbier at the famous One Piece Descent. Don't even try to front on our skills homie. Don't be messin with the Blade Killa, Im the number one thrilla, got flows like vanilla, and tricks like Godzilla, I'm the gorilla in your filla shots, I'm the sub zero blade robot, the possessor of mad skills, thrower of sick thrills, a style so nauseating you'l need sea sick pills. "The key to Blading is to always, ride it out" - Jack Wildeblade
Felt it was about time to try a few of these lines yesterday. Got a bit over-stoked so beware headphone users. Watch in HD
Took a day out with some spotty snow, but we made it work. Check it out.
Skied three days at Targhee over spring break, I was lucky enough to get some sun and pow!
Owen Marsh is a freeskier living in Southern NY, not the most ideal place for his interests. This season was one of the best he ever had. The East Coast received plenty of snow, and Owen was able to take a week long trip to the Northern Rockies, specifically Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Big Sky, and the side country that surrounds them. Trips like those make the hardships of living in New York just a little bit easier. Thanks to Faction Skis, and all of hs family and friends for all of the support.
Was planning on leaving Utah for spring break, but the conditions were too damn good. Why go out for burgers when you've got steak at home?
Two Gopro shots of myself moving into the top of a couple film lines.
This is my 3rd edit from Europe. Most of the skiing is filmed in Verbier and Bruson.
Pallisades: Extra Alternate Chute. Ummm....so I guess things didn't soften up. Not sure if it is really skiing but it was fun anyhow.
Shredding some insane looking terrain that felt like skiing on the moon.
Droppin in 10 feet higher on the ridge than i should have and found myself in a scary position.
